Facebook App SSL Authentication Becomes Mandatory from October 1, 2011

SSL authentication for iframe pages added to Facebook pages and Facebook apps will become mandatory from October 1, 2011.

If SSL authentication is not supported, they won’t even be displayed after implementation.

Facebook app and page operators will need to respond urgently.

Currently, most apps don’t support https, so I feel like there will be many apps that become unusable from 2011/10/01.

Facebook supports SSL. Check your external call files. Even with absolute path descriptions using http://, if it’s an SSL-compatible server, it will be displayed. SSL-incompatible servers will not be displayed.
