[Google Apps] Can Google Drive storage be purchased per organization? → No
When I inquired whether Google Drive storage could be purchased per organization, I received a response that it cannot be done.
Q: Can Google Drive storage be purchased per organization? Specifically, is there a purchasing method where storage can be shared and used by the entire organization, rather than being tied to individual user accounts?
A: We apologize, but currently, when adding Drive storage, storage is allocated to each individual user account. Therefore, allocating specific storage to an organization and having members share that storage is currently not possible. We apologize for not being able to meet your expectations.
Please note that the minimum storage an administrator can allocate is 20 GB. When allocating the same storage to multiple users, you can select an organization during allocation and assign storage, which allows you to allocate the same storage to multiple users in the organization at once.
When using this feature, please follow these steps:
Regarding Drive storage, there seem to be two types: storage managed by administrators and storage purchased by individual accounts.
The difference appears to be only whether administrators can control storage allocation or not.

I think there’s quite a difference between 1TB at $9.99 monthly vs $89.00…
That’s all from the Gemba.
