[Mac] Steps for Screen Recording with QuickTime Player

I’ve summarized the steps for recording your screen using Mac’s QuickTime Player.

Preparation

Connect Sony’s USB microphone to your Mac.

Recording Screen with QuickTime Player

  1. Launch QuickTime Player
  2. Click [File] - [New Screen Recording]
  3. In the [Screen Recording] window, select UAB-80 from [Microphone]
    QuickTimePlayer-1
  4. Click the red circle recording button
  5. A message saying Click to record the entire screen… will appear QuickTimePlayer-2
    • Full screen recording: Click
    • Partial recording: Drag
  6. Click the ■ button in the menu bar to stop recording

  7. After stopping recording, don't forget to save the file with Command + S
