Should I Recommend a Friend to Use WIX Paid Plan for Website Creation?

A friend of mine was creating a website on wix.com and consulted with me about wanting to get a custom domain and create an original homepage. Since I wasn’t familiar with WIX, I decided to research it.

For non-engineers creating websites, the most important consideration is “Will you be able to continuously operate and maintain it after creation?”

From this perspective, looking at WIX, the paid plan costs just over 1000 yen per month, which is about 10,000 yen annually, making it significantly cheaper than hiring someone.

All of these cost around 10,000 yen annually, so if there’s a template that satisfies your needs, it seems better to pay for one of these services.

Alternatively, if you learn coding and some programming skills yourself and host on Heroku, you’d only need to pay for domain costs, but that’s not very realistic.
