Save 'Long Working Hours' as a Last Resort

Recently, I haven’t been able to take time to review my work style.

In this context, several thought-provoking articles have been trending, so I’d like to take this opportunity to share my own thoughts.

Sometimes I think:

“Since I’m at a startup, let’s work except for sleeping time!”

But other times I feel:

“Why am I working so much…?”

This can lead to something like burnout syndrome.

In such states, both the quantity and quality of output become inconsistent, which I’ve come to realize is not good.

From now on, I want to work more efficiently so I can consistently produce high-level results within a fixed timeframe.

And I’ll save “long working hours” as a last resort.

That should lead to more peace of mind.

That’s all from the Gemba.
