Could not launchReview by: BLATAPI It says it supports OS 10.6.6 and later, but it couldn’t even launch. I’m using OS 10.6.8. The cause is a library (libc++.1.dylib) loading error, but after some research, it seems Apple support has been discontinued?
I’m using an old OS so it can’t be helped, but it was disappointing.
Might negatively affect SSD lifespan.
Review by: Hirojkovic Ran a test to try out the performance of a newly purchased MacBook. You can choose load capacity from 1GB to 5GB, but when I actually tried 5GB, it continued reading and writing endlessly. For SSDs with limited read/write cycles, this could be fatal, so I recommend stopping the measurement yourself.
Proved that Thunderbolt is unnecessary
Review by: budoo Used to verify external USB3.0 SSD. Both Read and Write were getting 400MB/s, so I found out there’s no need to use Thunderbolt. Well, Thunderbolt would probably get even higher speeds, but considering I could buy a USB external case for less than 2000 yen, the cost-effectiveness would be poor. I also tested the built-in Fusion Drive on iMac, but it didn’t reach those speeds. SD cards didn’t even reach 10MB/s… This free app helped eliminate drive selection confusion, so nothing could be more grateful.
That’s all from the Gemba.
