Slack Multi-Channel / Single-Channel Guest account pricing

In Slack, you can also create accounts like Multi-Channel Guest or Single-Channel Guest that can be used with some limited functionality.

To solve the internal need for “wanting to have small exchanges with partner companies within Slack,” I researched the pricing structure of these Slack accounts.

slack

{language: “Japanese”}

  • ? Multi-Channel Guest: Limited account (paid)
    Choose this when you need to check various Slack channels and groups across multiple channels (recommended for freelancers who handle multiple projects)
  • ? Single-Channel Guest (free・up to 5 times the number of paid team accounts)
    Choose this when sharing only one channel (recommended when sharing a project with only one client)

{lang: “English”}

  • ? Guest roles are available to teams on the Standard plan and above.
  • ? Multi-Channel Guests are billed as regular team members, and can be added to unlimited channels.
  • ? Single-Channel Guests are free. You can add up to 5 Single-Channel Guests per paid member of your team.

Since you can create up to 5 Single-Channel Guests per paid account, we’d like to actively create and use these accounts.
