Purchased 'WEB+DB PRESS Complete Edition' as training material for new engineers
“What kind of training should we provide for the new engineer employees who joined in April?” has been a recurring topic in our discussions lately.
With this premise, WEB+DB PRESS April issue had a timely special feature on “Web Development New Employee Training.”
Seeing this special feature, we decided “Let’s go through all past WEB+DB PRESS issues, pick out features that are still useful today, and use them for training,” so we ordered WEB+DB PRESS Complete Edition [Vol.1~84].
Just skimming through the table of contents, while there’s content like prototype.js and ActionScript that we don’t need to bother with now, there’s also evergreen knowledge like computational complexity that will be useful forever, so we’ll pick out only the good features to use.
That’s all from the Gemba.
