Inside Frontend #1 Participation Report #insideFE

Tadashi Shigeoka ·  Thu, March 2, 2017

I participated in Inside Frontend, “a conference that connects the current state and future of web frontend.”

INSIDE FRONTEND #1

Below are the sessions I attended and my impressions. I “liked” good tweets from others during sessions as notes, so I’m including those as memoranda.

Web over ServiceWorker @jxck_

I didn’t know much about ServiceWorker, so it was educational. I hope to see more practical use cases.

Progressive Web Apps by @jxck_

Polyfills are part of the web - FT & Nikkei @triblondon

How to Educate About Frontend Issues by @yhassy

Ameblo 2016: Real Story, Ameblo Frontend Renewal 275 Days - CyberAgent @herablog

E2E Testing Techniques for SPAs Using karma @kyo_ago

Summary

I gained several frontend insights and had high satisfaction.

Also, I was happy that I could drink Starbucks coffee almost infinitely until the end.

There was also FRESH! streaming, and videos remain, so I’ll watch interesting sessions again. What a great era.

Thank you to the Inside Frontend organizing staff and all the speakers!

That’s all from the Gemba.
