Immediately installed Classic Editor plugin after updating to WordPress 5.0

This is a story about how I updated to WordPress 5.0 and tried the new Gutenberg editor, but judged that it wouldn’t be immediately usable for a tech media site like this one, so I quickly installed the Classic Editor plugin.

Reasons for reverting to Classic Editor

If I were running a personal blog or non-tech media site with WordPress, I would have the impression that “the new Gutenberg editor seems easy to write with.”

However, in the case of this site, considering the heavy use of sample code and HTML tags, I judged that the traditional editor would be more user-friendly and immediately installed the Classic Editor plugin.

That’s all from the Gemba where I won’t be using the WordPress new Gutenberg editor for a while.
