I’ll introduce the subscription services (Web/Apps) I paid for in 2018.
I’ll introduce them in order of recommendation, focusing on services that might have low recognition.
Password management service
Family plan $48 USD per year
It’s very useful for sharing passwords and credit card information among family members.
Online backup service $50 USD per year
I back up daily just in case. It’s great that it offers unlimited backup and supports external drives.
Note-taking app. I also write my diary in Evernote.
Evernote Plus plan 3,100 yen per year
According to the article Evernoteプラスが廃止。でも実はまだ申し込めます!方法を解説【18年09月最新】 | Apple Hacker, it seems the Plus plan is scheduled to be discontinued.
3,900 yen per year
I mainly use it for e-commerce. I use it to purchase at Prime member prices for discounts and for faster delivery or time-specific delivery.
I also use Amazon Prime Video. This might actually be the main use.
It was renamed to Google One this year.
Google Drive 100 GB 250 yen per month
I have a contract for additional Google Drive storage.
I’ve been contracting for several years and it says annual payment ¥2,500 (¥500 discount), so I think I’ll switch to annual payment.
529 yen per month
Basic use is free, but I create and send photobooks to my parents’ house every month, which is the subscription-like billing point.
That’s all from the Gemba about the subscription services I paid for in 2018.
