I’ll share my personal macOS System Preferences settings as a memo.
Until first startup
Wi-Fi connection
If there’s a Wi-Fi environment available on the spot, connect first.
Skip Apple ID input
Since I manage it with a password management tool and manual input is troublesome, I’ll set it up later.
Dark mode
This is a matter of personal preference, but since I’m a software engineer, I chose Dark mode.
Log in to Apple ID
Before initial setup after macOS startup, log in to Apple ID.
Since you can’t do various necessary things like OS updates and app installations without logging in to Apple ID, I first log in to the password management tool.
