This article introduces how to set up reCAPTCHA v3 in WordPress Contact Form 7 to prevent spam inquiries.

Prerequisites

I was frustrated with the massive amount of spam submissions arriving daily at this site’s contact form.

After researching, I found that Contact Form 7’s reCAPTCHA integration module could help prevent spam submissions, so I set it up immediately.

Google reCAPTCHA Registration

Register at https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create

reCAPTCHA Integration Settings

Configure the reCAPTCHA integration module from https://your-site.example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7-integration.

Contact Form 7 Integration

Simply enter the [Site Key] and [Secret Key] issued during Google reCAPTCHA registration and click the [Save Changes] button to complete the setup.
