I’ll show you how to bulk migrate Google Photos to another account.

Background: Want to Organize Google Accounts

Since the account that was automatically backing up to Google Photos was a free account, I bulk migrated the Google Photos to an account that was paying for Google One.

Basically, you just need to refer to the following article and configure the settings to complete the process.

Google Photos Migration Source Settings

  1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
  2. Sign in with your Google Account.
  3. Click Settings icon, then [Partner sharing], then [Get started].
  4. Enter or select an email address. You can only invite users who have Google Accounts.
  5. From the photos to add to your partner account, select All photos: You can share all photos.
  6. Click [Next].
  7. If the settings look good, click [Send invitation].

Google Photos Migration Destination Settings

  1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
  2. Sign in with the invited Google Account.
  3. Click the sharing icon at the top.
  4. Click the invitation you want to accept, then click [Accept].
  5. From the setting choices, select [Save] - [All photos].

That’s all from the Gemba, where we wanted to bulk migrate Google Photos to another account.
