Set Google Ads Account Type to 'Organization' When Creating for Company Use
When creating a Google Ads account for company use, you should set the account type to “Organization”. Let me share this important point.
I encountered a case where a Google Ads account was set to “Individual” instead of “Organization” type, making it impossible to add an administrator for payment methods, ultimately requiring the recreation of the Google Ads account.
Profile TypeImportant: For some business-related services (such as Google Ads), the account type may be “Organization” instead of “Business”.
When creating a new payment profile, you need to choose between “Individual” and “Business” profile types. When creating, please note the following:
- Please provide accurate information here to verify tax conditions and identity.
- You cannot change the profile type later.
Please select the most appropriate type according to how you intend to use the profile.
- Individual: Select this payment profile if you will use the account to make personal payments.
- Business: Select this payment profile if you will make or receive payments on behalf of a company, organization, partner, or educational institution.
That’s all from the Gemba regarding setting the Google Ads account type to “Organization” when creating for company use.
