However, the final trial for the event organizer is “securing a venue for the after-party.”

Especially on Friday nights, which are often the last day of the event, all nearby restaurants are fully booked. This is even more challenging for large groups. To avoid this situation, you need to secure a reservation in advance.

This time, we chose Chinese Restaurant “Suiran” inside Hotel Springs Makuhari. In this report, I’ll share “why Suiran was the perfect solution” based on our actual experience with 20 people, for the benefit of future event organizers.

The location is excellent: approximately 16 minutes on foot from Makuhari Messe and about 3 minutes on foot from JR Kaihin-Makuhari Station. Even with tired feet after the exhibition, it’s a stress-free distance to travel.

What surprised us most was the fact that “we could secure a reservation for 20 people in a private room on a Friday night.” Being a restaurant inside a hotel, it may have a different reservation capacity compared to typical izakaya chains.

What’s important for an after-party is a space where you can enjoy yourself with your colleagues without worrying about others around you. Suiran offers private rooms of various sizes, and we were able to use a private room spacious enough for 20 people.

Suiran’s cuisine is distinctly different from typical “town Chinese restaurants,” offering an elegant and authentic taste. We ordered a course meal, and from appetizers to dessert, each dish was carefully prepared, leaving all members completely satisfied.

We were also able to add an all-you-can-drink plan, which made accounting management very smooth for the organizer.
