I Registered on Findy But I'm Not Job Hunting

Recently, I registered on Findy, a job and recruitment site for IT/Web engineers. However, my purpose wasn’t job hunting.

The Trigger for Registering on Findy Was an Online Event

My direct reason for registering on Findy was to watch an online event hosted by Findy Inc. Findy frequently hosts events with technically interesting themes and renowned engineers as speakers, which I found very appealing as an engineer.

Since registration with Findy was required to participate in the event, I created my profile. When asked about my job-seeking intentions, there was no option for “not considering a job change at all,” so I selected the option with the lowest apparent job-seeking intention: “not considering an immediate job change.”

Gratitude and Apologies for the “Likes” Received

To be honest, I thought there wouldn’t be much action toward users with low job-seeking intentions. However, after registering, I received “likes” from several companies.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the recruiters who showed interest in the form of “likes” even to users like me who aren’t considering a job change. Thank you very much.

However, since I’m not job hunting, I would like to apologize to any recruiters who might have found this article while searching for information about me. I’m sorry.

That’s all from the Gemba, where I registered on Findy but am not job hunting.
