Talk Title

Trends and Countermeasures from Code Reviews of Vibe Coders: Surviving the AI Era

Talk Summary

In recent years, with the evolution of AI coding tools, we’ve entered an era where even non-developers can develop web applications in a short period using Vibe Coding. However, from the perspective of reviewing such code, there’s a reality that it can be surprisingly diverse and sometimes extremely challenging.

I’ve reviewed applications developed by multiple Vibe Coders so far. Through this experience, common patterns and stumbling points have emerged, leading me to realize that “if we prepare guardrails in advance, we could significantly reduce the review burden.”

In this session, I’ll share the trends observed through code reviews of Vibe Coders and the countermeasures that have actually proven useful in practice. I’ll provide real insights on efficiently conducting reviews while ensuring quality in AI-era development environments, and I hope to share ideas with participants for continuous collaboration with Vibe Coders in software development.
