An Inventory of FigJam Alternatives — First Picks by Use Case and Migration Cost

For teams that have kept using FigJam for UI/UX reviews and joint workshops, the 2026 changes to Figma's seat model and AI integrations have made it harder to standardize company-wide without knowing the alternatives. The lineup covers Miro, Mural, Lucidspark, Whimsical, Excalidraw, AFFiNE, Cacoo, and Strap, mapped to four lenses: engineering-heavy teams, facilitation-first workshops, regulated industries, and company-wide rollout inside Japan.
